Protecta® FR IPT Version 3 is a high-performance, permanently flexible fire rated sealant and adhesive designed for fire stopping, sealing and bonding applications.

Based on Inert Polymer Technology (IPT), the sealant dynamically accommodates movement within sealed and bonded joints while providing an airtight and watertight seal. It offers minimum 25% 3D joint movement capability and excellent adhesion to a wide range of common construction materials.

For passive fire protection applications, Protecta FR IPT provides fire resistance up to EI 240, subject to the tested system and installation configuration. The product is supported by third-party verified ETAs and UKTAs and has been tested to EN 1366-3 and EN 1366-4 in conjunction with EN 1363-1.

Version 3 builds on the established FR IPT formulation with improved durability, faster skin formation, improved early water resistance, enhanced adhesion and easier tooling.

Key Features & Benefits
