The FirePro Plus Fire Stop Pipe Wrap offers a cost-effective, maintenance-free solution for sealing plastic pipework and electrical trunking in fire-rated walls and floors. Designed as an alternative to traditional fire collars, it’s ideal for applications where ease of installation and long-term reliability are essential.
Constructed from layers of graphite-based intumescent sheet encapsulated in a durable polythene sheath, the wrap is fitted around the outside of the pipe or trunking and secured with a self-adhesive strip. Positioned so the edge is exposed at the wall or soffit face, it is sealed into the structure using FirePro Plus Fire Stop Compound.
In a fire situation, the intumescent material expands rapidly to close the void left by melted plastic, restoring the fire integrity of the structure. When installed in walls, wraps must be built into both sides of the wall.
