An aluminium-pigmented polyurethane coated glass cloth, coated on one side to reflect radiated heat while stabilising the fibres for easy cutting and tailoring. The base fabric withstands continuous temperatures up to 550°C (unstressed); the PU coating begins to degrade above 90°C, after which it leaves behind micronized aluminium particles that continue to enhance heat resistance and reflectivity. See the fire safety table in the downloadable data sheet. Supplied in 1000mm wide rolls (slit from the standard 1500mm mill width) of 50m.
Key specifications:
• Weight: 700g/m2 (±5%)
• Thickness: 0.6mm (±5%)
• Width: 1000mm (±5%), roll length: 50m
• Base fabric max temp: 550°C (unstressed) | PU coating begins to degrade: 90°C
• Tensile strength: 1280 N/cm warp, 1000 N/cm weft (±10%)
• Colour: Silver/grey coated one side, white untreated fibres opposite side
