The FirePro Metal Intumescent Rectangular Fire Sleeve is a proven and certified firestopping solution for rectangular plastic ventilation ducting passing through plasterboard stud partitions or masonry walls.
Manufactured with a graphite-based intumescent liner within a galvanised steel sleeve, it expands under heat to seal the duct and maintain fire compartmentation. Tested to BS EN 1366-3:2009, including uncapped/uncapped (U/U) duct configurations for ventilation systems, it provides up to 2+ hours of fire resistance on 100mm stud partitions using 1.5mm thin-wall ducting.
Designed for both new-build and retrofit use, the sleeve installs quickly and cleanly without mechanical fixings. It is available in multiple rectangular sizes and in lengths from 110mm to 220mm, ensuring suitability for a wide range of standard duct profiles.
