FirePro Plus Vermiculite Treated Cloths are high-performance welding fabrics designed for extreme heat resistance, molten metal protection, and heavy-duty thermal shielding. Treated with a mineral-based vermiculite dispersion, these fabrics form protective platelets that shield the base fibres, allowing them to withstand contact with molten metal at temperatures up to 1000°C long enough for cooling and solidification.
Choose between:
-
Glass Cloth – heavy-duty plain weave, excellent tensile strength and durability.
-
Silica Cloth – premium 96% silica fibre, satin weave with superior flexibility and higher temperature stability.
Both options retain flexibility, resist abrasion, and can be fitted with eyelets for use as welding blankets, curtains, hot debris collection, or insulation protection.
