The Quelfire QuelStop Ablative Coated Fire Batt is a high-performance fire protection solution designed to reinstate the fire integrity of compartment walls and floors penetrated by building services. Manufactured from dense mineral wool and coated with a flexible ablative seal, it delivers robust fire resistance up to 120 minutes. Ideal for a range of substrates and service penetrations, it can also be used in blank seal and head of wall applications.

Applications:
Designed for reinstating fire protection where multiple services penetrate fire compartment lines. Used in both new builds and refurbishments for fire stopping compliance.
Installation Notes:
Must be tightly friction fitted within the aperture. All cuts and edges should be sealed with QuelStop Intumescent Acrylic Sealant. For pattress fitting, fix with 80mm screws and 25mm washers at 300mm centres and coat fixings with QuelStop Ablative Coating.
