The FirePro Plus Ablative Coated Panel is a high-performance firestop system for sealing service penetrations in fire-rated walls. Designed for both mechanical and electrical services, it delivers up to 4 hours fire protection and acoustic insulation up to Rw 52dB, ensuring both safety and noise control in one solution.
Manufactured from high-density rock fibreboard coated with a fire-rated ablative seal, the panels are cut to size and friction-fitted into place. Edges and joints are sealed with Acoustic Intumescent Sealant to create a continuous fire barrier.
The panels are lightweight, easy to install, and suitable for use in plasterboard partitions, blockwork, or other fire-rated structures. They can be overpainted for a neat finish, and the acrylic polymer coating prevents any fibre migration.
Tested to BS 476: Parts 20 & 22, the FirePro Plus Ablative Coated Panel is ideal for commercial, industrial, and residential projects requiring reliable compartmentation.
