The Quelfire QuelStop CE Marked Intumescent Acoustic Acrylic Sealant is a high-performance, water-based sealant formulated to maintain the fire resistance and acoustic performance of walls and floors where penetrated by services or subject to joint gaps.

Tested in accordance with BS EN 1366-3:2009 and BS EN 1366-4:2006, and classified to EN 13501-2:2007 + A1:2009, this sealant offers up to 4 hours of fire protection (EI240). It is suitable for flexible walls, rigid walls, and floors, and can be applied around cables, cable trays, cable ladders, and non-combustible pipes, or in linear joints up to 50mm wide.

ETA-certified (17/0788 & 17/0789) and CE marked, this sealant also provides up to 48dB airborne sound insulation and contributes to airtightness with verified air permeability results at 600Pa.

Installation Guidance

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Use backing rod or mineral wool where necessary to control depth. Apply using standard sealant gun. Do not apply below 5°C or above 40°C. Sealant is over-paintable once fully cured.
