The FirePro Plus Universal Pipe Sleeve (UFS) is a flexible, low-profile intumescent wrap designed to provide 120 minutes of fire protection to plastic pipe penetrations through walls and floors — without the need for a metal sleeve or mechanical fixings.

With a nominal thickness of just 4.4mm, the UFS is ideal for use in uninsulated or insulated stud partitions, as well as solid walls and floor slabs. In a fire, the intumescent material rapidly expands to seal the opening left by the collapsing pipe, maintaining the fire integrity of the structure.

Tested capped and uncapped to BS EN 1363-1: 1999 and BS EN 1366-3: 2009 principles, the FirePro Plus UFS provides reliable compliance in commercial and residential applications.

Installation Guidance:

  1. Wrap the sleeve tightly around the pipe.

  2. Secure with the self-adhesive tab.

  3. For stud partitions, slide the sleeve so it is flush with or through both sides of the partition.

  4. Ensure the sleeve is positioned exactly where the pipe penetrates the fire-rated structure.
