The Quelfire QF2 Fire Protection Compound is a high-performance, gypsum-based firestopping solution designed to seal service penetrations through fire-rated floors and walls. Supplied in a 20kg sack, QF2 is ideal for filling gaps where cables, ducts, and pipework pass through fire compartment lines, forming a rigid, loadbearing, smoke- and gas-tight seal.
Fire tested to BS 476: Part 20: 1987 and the principles of EN 1366-3: 1993 and BS EN 1366-3: 2009, QF2 delivers up to 4 hours of fire resistance. Its simple mixing process, excellent yield, and compatibility with Quelfire’s MW Mineral Wool Shuttering Slabs and CE Marked Intuwraps make it an essential component in passive fire protection systems.
