The Protecta FR Putty Pad is a flexible, non-setting intumescent firestop solution designed to reinstate the fire resistance of gypsum partition walls where electrical socket boxes or pipe boxes breach the construction. This pack of 20 pads is ideal for larger projects or site-wide installations.
Made from silicone-based material with fire-retardant additives, each pad expands under heat to form a robust char, sealing off the penetration and preventing fire, smoke, and sound transmission. The pads are easily applied internally or externally to socket boxes and supplied on a quick-release paper for efficient use.
