The PFC Corofil Intumescent Vent Duct Sleeve is a high-performance closure device designed to maintain fire and acoustic integrity where plastic vent ducts pass through non-load bearing wall constructions.
Manufactured from intumescent material, the sleeve expands under fire conditions to seal the duct opening, restoring the wall’s fire resistance. It is suitable for use in flexible and rigid walls with a minimum thickness of 132mm, including walls with or without insulation.
This sleeve can be cut along its length for easy fitting and is secured with aluminium foil tape to ensure a complete seal. It is compatible with walls constructed from concrete, block, masonry, plasterboard, and with the PFC Corofil Coated Panel System.
Offering an acoustic rating of up to 49dB, it also helps control noise transfer between compartments.
