The PFC Corofil Firestop Acoustic Intumescent Mastic is a high-specification, one-part water-based acrylic sealant designed to provide both fire protection and acoustic sealing for joints and service penetrations.
Tested to BS 476: Parts 20 & 22:1987 and BS EN 1366-4, this mastic offers up to 4 hours fire resistance in joints up to 30mm wide. Under fire conditions, it expands to form a protective ash, maintaining compartment integrity.
Ideal for sealing fire walls, partitions, fire-rated door frames, glazing systems, and party walls for acoustic performance. It is fast-curing (approx. 15 minutes tack-free) and can be overpainted once fully cured.
Available in 310ml cartridges (box of 25) and 600ml foil packs (box of 12).
